Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Telephony

Swift Networks VoIP can provide a custom solution to each accommodation room by including a Digital IP-PBX server in the DES core infrastructure, or alternatively the phone system can be integrated with many 'traditional', 'digital' and standards based IP based telephony systems.

The in-room telephone system comprises of a Swift Networks-provided VoIP telephone handset with ports to provide connectivity to other devices (such as laptops).

A variety of configurations are available to provide dial-in and dial-out calls, a “virtual receptionist”, variable access and security levels, call logging plus on screen billing, voicemail alerts and other interactive content.

The system is capable of providing failover to ISDN for out-going emergency calls only.
