Swift Networks’ Video-on-Demand (VoD) has a dedicated movie server which provides a true digital experience with end-user functionality to:

play on demand,
stop/start
pause, fast-forward, rewind and resume.

Swift Networks’ DES system provides a VoD contention ratio ranging from 5:1 to 1:1 – meaning you are not limited to the number of people who can watch the same video at the same time! All content is delivered over IP and users have a full digital interactive experience not available in many other commercial offerings.

Swift Networks’ VoD system can be used to deliver movie or feature programming plus industry and customised content. Choose from over 1,000 blockbuster and new release movies plus a great range of specialist feature programming.

As part of the managed service contract, Swift Networks has a number of flexible and convenient methods to regularly update the latest release and long-tail movies.

Swift Networks’ VoD can also be used to deliver other video content such as training and induction videos, directory and other commercial programming.

Swift Networks’ VoD are Standard Definition in MPEG-2 format with 44.1kHz Audio (in English) at up to approximately 5Mbps.
