Rental Management
Astib’s Rental Management Program saves your company time, money and unnecessary concerns while guaranteeing the best possible service and the latest technology.
Equipment supply and spares
We supply a proportionate amount of on-site spare equipment for immediate replacement of non-operational radio or wireless equipment. Replacement units are despatched immediately upon advice from your site to replenish the spares holding.
Comsource covers the freight costs when despatching radios and equipment to site and requests clients to reciprocate with the return of goods for maintenance and at the end of any rental period.
Equipment upgrades and buyback
We provide current technology radio communication equipment and accessories. As developments take place in the radio industry, you can be assured of regular upgrades to current, high performance equipment.
A ratio of 25% spare batteries are included in the Rental Management Program. The batteries used in two-way radios build up memory over time, gradually reducing the radio’s overall performance. We offer free battery replacements as they are required, ensuring that the equipment is at optimum performance at all times.
You will have the option to buy back existing equipment at an agreed value, to be credited against future equipment rental costs.
Service and maintenance
We recognise the need for 24 hour service and support, 365 days a year. Our staff can be contacted at any time, either at the office or through our paging service, to ensure an immediate response to your enquiry. Simply call 1800 133 750 and follow the prompts to contact your nearest representative.
Any equipment failure is replaced within 24 hours during normal working days. If equipment fails after office hours, the on-site spare equipment can be utilised immediately to eliminate any down time. Upon notification of equipment failure, replacement equipment is sent directly to site on the next working day.
Service and maintenance due to radio equipment failure and ‘fair wear and tear’ is included within the rental service fee. Repairs required due to physical damage, damage from liquid ingress, AC power surge or loss and theft are charged at discounted rates.
All general service and maintenance is carried out off-site. This is made possible by the swap out of faulty equipment and the utilisation of on-site spares where practicable.
