ASTIB’s network link company, Memo Communications, offers the excellent quality Harris Stratex network products, requiring an ATMA license. Harris Stratex is a professional, commercial grade network product utilised across a private channel.
Licensed microwave network links are high-speed, reliable and secure for point-to-point or point-to-multi-point links. Your license means you have exclusive rights to a communication channel so you don’t need to worry about interference on your private, secure communication network.

Unlicensed Networks
Unlicensed networks are a cost-effective data transmission solution for transferring data across small to medium physical distances using point-to-point or point-to-multi-point links.
License-free networks are economical because you do not have to pay ongoing licence fees. Unlicensed systems are easy to install and can be simply integrated with your corporate local area network. This type of network is also easier to customise and change, as you are not required to maintain the location and pathways of various points as you would using a licensed solution.

Mesh Networks
Meshed networks give you enhanced signal capabilities as your data is transmitted across a matrix of network points. This allows you to send data ‘around corners’ and over greater distances, as line-of-sight transmission (as in conventional microwave links) is not necessary.
