IPTV
The Swift Network solution distributes encrypted pay TV Channels from Foxtel or other satellite / cable providers as well as the large variety of FTA channels. Swift networks works with the service providers and can incorporate their service installation and billing as part of its offering.
Security and Encryption
The Entertainment, Movie and television industry has strict guidelines and requirements around Digital Rights Management and Encryption. Any group that redistributes content or has another party redistribute content on their behalf needs to ensure that they meet all government and commercial requirements.
Swift Networks has built up the appropriate relationships to ensure that itself and support clients are not susceptible to any rights management or encryption issues.
Were required, such as with Pay T.V and Movie distribution, the Swift Networks Digital Entertainment System undergoes regular stringent testing to ensure it is compliant with appropriate regulations.
Video on Demand
Video-on-Demand (VoD) is provided by a dedicated movie server which provides a VoD contention ratio of ranging from 5:1 to 1:1. All content is delivered over IP and as such users have a full digital interactive experience that is not available in many other commercial offerings. Movie content is updated fortnightly via a varying mechanisms depending upon the customer and location.
Music
Radio on Demand
The DES solution capable of delivering Internet, satellite and traditional terrestrial radio services to the user. All these services as with anything else are subject to copyright and rebroadcasting restrictions.
Internet
A Swift Networks supplied wireless keyboard will enable access to the internet via the Set Top Box (STB); and utilises the room TV as the display. Coupled with the use of a High Definition STB and LCD screen a clear and uncomplicated Internet experience is available over the internet.
Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP)
Swift Networks has the capability to provide a custom VOIP solution to each of the accommodation rooms or alternatively integrate a standards based existing solution.
By having the telephony solution integrated swift networks is able to display on screen billing, voicemail alerts and other interactive content.
The DES core infrastructure can include a Digital IP-PBX server. The in-room telephone system comprises of a Swift Networks-provided VoIP telephone handset and through connect port to connect to other devices eg. Laptop.
